Yesterday our CEO Stelios Kotsopoulos joined the DataWeek25 session “Democratising Digital Agriculture: Breakthroughs & Challenges” to show how our EO-informed Multi-Agent Digital Twin is reshaping decision support in farming.
What we shared:
Multi-agent Solution for Agriculture — a framework born in the ESA-funded Transition Neuralio project. It couples Earth-Observation data with Reinforcement-Learning agents to test land use strategies at farm, regional and policy levels. Key Transition Neuralio use cases include:
✔️ Climate-smart crop planning under shifting suitability and water stress.
✔️ Agro-photovoltaic siting – balancing food, energy & revenue on the same hectare.
✔️ Behaviour-aware adoption modelling with PECS factors (Physical, Emotional, Cognitive, Social).
✔️ Green-credit & climate-adaptation scenarios for evidence-based policy design.
What’s next
The same core is now evolving further in two Horizon Europe projects:
✔️ SAFE4ALL Africa – scaling the Digital Twin to assess food safety and social-equity impacts of farm innovations in Africa.
✔️ BioClimaProject – extending our RL agents to optimise biodiversity-positive land-management and climate-resilient value chains.
Together with partners across Europe, we are pushing the limits of data interoperability, open-source software and trustworthy AI for agriculture.
Thanks to moderators Nikolaos Marianos & Karel Charvat and all panelists for the inspiring dialogue.
