Today, Neuralio A.I.’s CTO, Dr. Paraskevi Vourlioti, presented our collaborative project with AlongRoute: Guiding Every Mile, where AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) come together to advance oceanographic forecasting. With key support from EuroCC Austria and the powerful infrastructure of the Vienna Scientific Cluster (VSC5), we’re working to achieve new levels of precision in Significant Wave Height (SWH) prediction.
Our approach uses Graph Neural Networks with Gated Recurrent Units, trained on comprehensive Copernicus datasets, to capture both spatial and temporal patterns in ocean dynamics. With the EuroCC Austria-supported HPC resources, we can provide dependable, actionable forecasts that promote safer and more sustainable maritime operations.
